System Outage Policy

Occasionally, buynsellit.com experiences computer, network or other service outages that affect trading on the buynsellit.com website. When we experience outages that affect trading, buynsellit.com automatically extends item listings for the amount of outage time incurred.

What is a System Outage?

A system outage is defined by buynsellit.com as any occurrence over which we have control that does not allow trading (bidding) to occur.

This includes the following:

1. Computer (server) failure
2. Incorrect system configuration rendering the site unuseable
3. Network router failure
4. Routine maintenance to the systems done by buynsellit.com staff
5. Any situation that results in the site being inaccessible over which our technical staff has control.

This does not include the following

1. Provider failure
2. Natural Disaster or other act beyond our control.

To be considered a system outage, no bidder must be able to place bids and no trading can occur. What we do in Case of a System Outage occurs Buynsellit.com will automatically extend all item listings for the length of time of the outage. Items that End before the outage are not extended. Since no listing fees are charged, buynsellit.com will not refund or credit fees. Fees for Hot Item Listings will be credited to the sellers account.

Where to Look for System Updates

Buynsellit.com will post all scheduled maintenance on our System Update Board. We encourage all traders to check this board for regular updates.
